LUCKY Leicester, we’ve got an evening of Madchester musical class to look forward to as the laid-back, simian swaggering Ian Brown comes to town.

The former Stone Roses frontman epitomises the heady days of the late 80s and early 90s, when a stagnant music scene was revitalised by northern ruffians in bucket hats.

He’ll be showcasing his sixth and latest, studio album, My Way, along with a few of his old favourites.
