He’s the godfather of stand-up, the quick-witted comic with a lifetime's supply of razor-sharp one-liners to fall back on.

Comedian, broadcaster, scriptwriter and after-dinner speaker, Barry Cryer, is little short of a national treasure.

The veteran funnyman will be serving up a range of old chestnuts, anecdotes and contemporary quips at Loughborough Town Hall tonight, in what’s billed as a new, organically grown show.

Ably assisted by pianist Colin Sell, expect plenty of laughs and a few groans as Baz retraces his illustrious career.
