Fun day in Oakham

On Sunday 9th September 2012 Oakham will be hosting a series of events starting with a car boot sale from 9am in the Burley Road car park.

From midday in Cutts Close (the park next to the castle) there will be lots of fab things to do, such as

zorbing (rolling around inside a giant ball),
zumba (the fitness dance craze – go and jig along!),
volleyball,
Rutland Water Rescue Boat display,
penalty shoot out?),
bike repairs,
live music and refreshments.
At 3pm there’s a concert in the bandstand with Oakham Town Council band. Some of the Oakham retailers will be opening on that Sunday.
