Village day to raise funds

Exton: The village day will take place on Monday replacing the Exton street market.

Billed as a day out to remember, it will see lots of stalls selling a selection of items ranging from plants and books to bric-a-brac.

An exhibition of arts and crafts in the village hall, light refreshments available.

During the same period there will be a "scarecrow" competition. Proceeds will be in aid of the village hall funds.

Friends of Exton School will provide teas from 11am to 4pm and are looking for support and anyone who can donate cakes and other food.
