When getting a dressing down at work can pay off
Chartered accountancy firm Newby Castleman has raised £1,000 for charity through monthly dress down days.
Staff at the Leicester and Loughborough offices have come into work in their casual clothes on the last Friday of the month since 2010.

Thanks to their efforts they recently handed over £1,000 to the Rainbows children's hospice in Loughborough.
The firm began supporting the hospice in late 2006, donating £12,000 to its £4 million Building for the Future extension appeal.
They have also donated professional business services worth £20,000, which has saved Rainbows £175,000 in VAT.
Partner John Griffin said: "A monthly dress down day is a simple idea, but we know that every penny raised will be spent on helping to improve the quality of life of the young patients at the hospice."
Hospice corporate fundraiser Kate Golding thanked them.
