Family writing day success

Glenfield: The Hall School threw open its doors for a fun-filled Family Writing Day when teachers led exciting sessions on sweet senses poetry, a Cluedo extravaganza, stories from around the world and treasure seekers.

The event was clearly very successful. One child said afterwasrds: "It gave me the ideas to write a poem. It was great to work with Daddy. The sweets gave me tasty ideas!" Another enthusiastic family wrote…"Great fun – it got the imagination going. We enjoyed writing the story together. We didn't want to go home – we wanted to stay and write a book!"
