FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 2

Sileby Fireworks Display and Bonfire Night. Head to Sileby Redlands Community Primary School for the professional display plus a Guy competition, children's rides, stalls, refreshments, BBQ. Please bring a torch. Family tickets £10. Adults £3.50. Children £2. On the gate: £4, £2.50. Tickets available at Redlands School and Cafe Nineteen in High Street, Sileby. When: Gates open at 6pm. SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 3

Abbey Park Bonfire and Fireworks Display is Leicester’s biggest display, attracting over 15,000 visitors. In addition to the main fireworks at 8pm there’s also a children’s firework display, at 6.45pm for a younger audience. BBC Radio Leicester presenters will be hosting a stage programme including an appearance from ‘A Tiger who Came to Tea’. Elsewhere on site there will be fire dance performances by Phosphorus, a children’s funfair, food stalls and, of course, the bonfire. Gates open 5pm, last admission 7.30pm. Advance tickets: Adults £4.50, concessions £3, family £13. On the gate: Adults £6, Concessions £4 (no family tickets available on the gate), children under-five free. Firework Spooktacular at Snibston Discovery Park. A choreographed Fireworks Spooktacular with bonfire. The Halloween theme event includes spooky surprises and ghouls galore.The evening starts off at 5pm with free admission to the museum galleries and live entertainment including Hermitage FM Radio Roadshow, live bands. Characters will be on hand to meet and greet you. Children's rides and a spooky ghost train. Hot food and refreshments will be on offer all evening. No sparklers, fireworks, alchohol or dogs allowed. Glebe Garden Centre Family Bonfire Night Leicester 2012. With a massive bonfire, music, refreshments, and of course - fireworks. Tickets are available from Glebe Garden Centre Leicester, the Countesthorpe Scout Group, and Countesthorpe Greenfields School. All profit is split between Countesthorpe Greenfields School & the Countesthorpe Scout Group. This event is strictly no alcohol, and no sparklers. Fireworks at Conkers. An evening for all the family including children’s rides, face painting and a fireworks extravaganza! Doors open 5pm with the main display at 7.30pm. Price: £5.50 adult. £3 child. Ticket sales proceeds go to charity and the evening is being presented by Ashby Rotary Club. Venue details: Conkers, Rawdon Road, nr Swadlincote DE12 6GA. 01283 216633

Fight of the Fire Dragons at Twinlakes Park. An all-day event at Twinlakes near Melton with torches to light up the stalls and games, live music, kids' entertainer, BBQ. When: 10am to 9pm. Rainbows Festival of Fireworks at Leicester Racecourse The annual Rainbows' Bonfire Night will be packed full of fireworks, with funfair and a huge bonfire and firework display at Leicester Racecourse. Sponsored by Gem106. When: 5:30pm gates and fun fair open. 7pm Children's firework display. 7.30pm lighting the bonfire. 8.15pm main firework display. Loros Fireworks Extravaganza and Bonfire at Mallory Race Track. An evening of entertainment with fireworks topping the bill. Gates open 5.30pm, entertainment 6.30pm, bonfire 7.45pm and fireworks 8.30pm. Tickets available at Loros shops and online. Cost: adults £3, concessions £2, family ticket £8 (under-fives free). Hathern Firework & Bonfire Party. The annual event features "an even bigger and better" display, mini-funfair, stalls, bar, music & BBQ and a huge bonfire. Venue details: Hathern Nurseries, Whatton Road, Hathern, LE12 5LX.

Bonfire Night Firework Express at the Battlefield Line. The train departs Shackerstone Station at 6pm for a round-trip to Market Bosworth Station where there are bonfire and fireworks. The train then continues its trip back to Shackerstone Station. Refreshments will be available both on the train and also at Market Bosworth Station. SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 4

Burbage Firework Display 2012. The village's annual firework display is at the Britannia Fields, off Britannia Road. Venue details: Britannia Fields, Off Britannia Road, Burbage, Hinckley, Leicestershire. 0844 357 8769

Leicester Forest Rugby Club display. The doors open at 4pm and the bonfire starts at 5.30pm with fireworks scheduled for 6.30pm. Tickets in advance £15 per family, £5 adult, £3 per child. Or on the gate £25 family, £8 adult, £5 per child. Venue details: Hinckley Road, Leicester Forest East, Leicester, LE3 3PJ

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 5

Humberstone Park Bonfire - the community bonfire and fireworks display is a family night out with stage entertainment, children’s funfair, food stalls and walkabout performers. From 6pm to 8.30pm. Venue details: Uppingham Rd, Leicester LE5 4DG.

Botcheston Bonfire and Fireworks Display. Bonfire with fireworks display from 6:30pm. Hot food available plus a bar. Venue details: Botcheson Village Hall, 15 Main Street, Botcheston, Leicestershire, LE9 9FF. 01455 824372.

Foxton Fireworks at the Shoulder of Mutton, in Foxton. Bonfire and fireworks at the Shoulder of Mutton in aid of Foxton pre school, Foxton Scouts and Gumley CC Adults £4.50 kids £2.50. Vipers RFC Bonfire Night at Vipers RFC, Blaby. Gates open at 6pm and the fire will be lit at 7pm. Fireworks 7.30pm. "Fantastic Bonfire Night Fun!" As wellas the bonfire and firework display, there will be a funfair, food and bar. £15 per car or on foot £5 per person (under 10's free if accompanied by an adult). Bonfire Night at the Great Central Railway. Quorn and Woodhouse station is the venue for a big bonfire and firework display plus children's rides, beer tent and hot food. You can arrive at the gate - or travel in by train from Loughborough, Rothley or Leicester North station. From 6pm to 11pm. Venue details: Quorn and Woodhouse Station, Woodhouse Road, Quorn, LE12 8AG.

Firework display at the Boathouse in Barrow upon Soar Starts 6:50pm with fireworks at about 7.15pm. Mini funfair inc candy floss a massive display of loud and exploding fireworks all given to the pub. It's free. Venue details: The Boat House, 14 Bridge Street, Barrow upon Soar, LE12 8PN.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 10

St Andrews Football Club Bonfire & Fireworks at St Andrews Football Club, Aylestone. Bonfire and Fireworks offering a great night out for all the family, Fairground rides, BBQ, Hot Food and lots more... Venue details: St Andrews Football Club, Canal Street, Leicester LE2 8LA.
