Top honours for walkers
Leicester Walking Club enjoyed success in the first of three Midland Winter League meetings.
There were victories in both the men's 10k team and women's 5k team at Halesowen.
Anne Wheeler was also triumphant in the individual women's 10k event with 61.50.
In the individual men's race, Chris Berwick finished third in 60.55, while Colin Vesty was a place further behind in 62.50. George Smolinski finished 10th in 65.34.

Jasmine Nicholls won the women's 5k, completing the distance in 27.34.
Anne Wheeler finished third with a time of 29.12, while Sue Rey was 13th in 37.47.
In the men's 5k, Colin Vesty finished eighth in 30.02 while Chris Smith was 18th in 41.00.
Ben Allen was second in the under-13 boys' 2k event with a time of 13.04.
