WELCOME

The White Horse is a traditional village pub, restaurant and conference centre set in the village of Empingham in Rutland, very close to Oakham. This former village courthouse has lost none of its classic look over time and still retains its stonework and open fire.
As a family owned business carefully run by Sarah and Ian Sharp, the value of a friendly welcome is never overlooked. You can always be sure of tasty food, comfortable accommodation and a friendly service.
So, whether you want a quiet drink or some good food, the White Horse is the perfect setting to sit back, relax and unwind.

EATING AND DRINKING

Our extensive menu is available seven days a week from 12 noon to 9pm and offers a good selection of traditional and modern cuisine. Roast lunches are always available on Sundays.


Dishes are all freshly prepared and cooked to order with the 'daily specials board' widening our menu further. Our chefs are more than willing to cater for any dietary needs, should this be required please let us know.


Our selection of desserts are just too tempting to resist for those with a sweet tooth.
Our wine listoffers something to accompany your meal on any occasion, a large selection of wines are available by the glass.

BUSINESS MEETINGS AND SMALL CONFERENCES

We offer the ideal place to hold small business conferences and seminars at an affordable price.


The conference room seats up to 30 people and the layout and facilities can be tailored to suit your individual requirements.br>Whatever your business needs, we can offer you everything from light refreshments, buffets, a full business lunch through to an evening meal.
