Councillors accept airport plans

Lockington and Hemington: Parish Councillors have considered the following planning applications submitted to North West Leicestershire District Council:-

East Midlands Airport - secure store - no objection

East Midlands Airport - retention of 30 metre high anemometer mast - no objection

The District Council has advised the Parish council of the following applications approved:-

East Midlands Airport - extension to Chevron fuel farm

East Midlands Airport - smokers' shelter at DHL

A planning application by LaFarge Agrregates in respect of Lockington quarry has been withdrawn.
