Building work has finished ahead of schedule at a primary school.

The £640,000 building project started at St Peter's C of E Primary, Market Bosworth, in February, to replace the 42-year-old mobile classrooms where about half the 250 pupils were being taught.

Acting head teacher Penny Smith said: "Not only does the new building look fantastic but we are so grateful to BS Construction for completing the work three weeks ahead of schedule.

"It means the new classroom and facilities can be in use right from the start of the new term."
