Three men stage raid on village shop
Three men burst into a village shop and threatened staff before escaping with cash and cigarettes.
The robbers sped off in a Vauxhall Corsa along Leicester Road following the robbery at Sapcote Co-op, in Church Street.

Police have just released details of the incident, which happened at 6.50pm on Wednesday, January 23.
Detective Constable Conroy Crowe said: "This was a very frightening ordeal for the staff members involved and also the customers who were in the store at the time.

"This is a small village store and the incident has impacted greatly on the area.
"I am particularly interested in any sightings around Sapcote of the Corsa at the time of the robbery and anyone who may have seen the three men entering or leaving the store."
Anne Davies, chairman of Sapcote Parish Council, said: "The village is shocked. Nothing like this has happed in Sapcote for a long time.
"I heard there were two people in the store at the time but they were fine. The shop opened at 7am the next day as usual as if nothing happened, so they've coped well."
The first man is white, 5ft 8in and of medium build. He was wearing a grey hooded top with white and black wide stripes on the front, dark tracksuit bottom and dark trainers.
The second man is white, 6ft and of large build. He was wearing a dark hooded top, grey jogging bottoms and dark trainers with white edges.
The third man is white, 6ft and of large build. He was wearing a dark hooded top with stripes, matching jogging bottoms and trainers.
