Wigston: Members of Oadby and Wigston Community Action are organising a number of events for Carers' Week from June 8 to 14.

The week will start with a coffee morning at Crossroads Caring for Carers in Lutterworth, from 11am to 3pm on Monday, June 8.

There will be a carers' forum at Parklands Leisure Centre on Thursday, June 18, from 11am to 2pm.

It will include information stands, dance and tai chi demonstrations and a speaker from Vitalise holidays – which help people with disabilities and their carers enjoy a hassle-free holiday.

There will also be a free buffet lunch, a raffle and a chance to relax and meet other carers.
