Two people die after crash on the A1
Two people were killed when two cars crashed in the A1, near Stretton, in Rutland.
The accident happened at around 4.30pm yesterday in the Great North Road stretch, between the junction with the A606 Empingham Road and A6121 Tinwell Road.

A further five people were injured in the accident, and Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance air lifted a 77-year-old man to Coventry and Warwickshire University Hospital, suffering from chest injuries.
His condition, or the condition of other injured people, is not known.
