The Star Inn 1744 is a newly refurbished 4 star country Hotel, Restaurant and Bar.

We've been feeding and watering people for more than 250 years and we continue that tradition today. Blending our historic heritage with modern convenience and luxury, we're sure that you'll find The Star Inn provides the very best mix of good food & drink, warm & friendly company, and a relaxing atmosphere at all times of the day and night.

Our 7 en-suite bedrooms have been designed and furnished to boast a feeling of luxury and to provide a high degree of comfort whichever room you choose. We have King/ Twin, Double and Single rooms and can create the option of family suites if desired. A continental breakfast is included with every nights stay.
Each room has wireless internet access, T.V, a complementary beverage tray, hairdryer and iron.

The restaurant and bar areas have been sensitively refurbished to bring out original features of the building with a few modern and contemporary touches, offering a relaxing environment for you to enjoy our four star, a-la-carte menu created by our great chef or maybe just a pint of quality local ale. In addition we also have a private dining room which can be used for more intimate events or for business meetings.
