Take back reins invite
A stables is offering riding lessons to help new and former riders get into the saddle.
Somerby Equestrian Centre, near Melton, has been chosen to offer Take Back the Reins lessons – part of the British Equestrian Federation's Olympic and Paralympic legacy.
The centre hopes the programme of lessons will get people of all ages interested in riding, regardless of whether they have ridden before.
Ellen Reeday, of the centre, said: "During the most successful equestrian Olympic year, we feel this is the time for everyone to make the most of their love of horses."
