“ From the moment we entered the building, we were met with a smile and a warm welcome. The room was delightful, full of character and a good size with moderm amenities. The ensuite bathrooms had been recently refurbished. For dinner we opted for the set menu, Supern value for the quality. I think it was £17 for 2 courses, this enabled us to sip a few cocktails at the bar. I reccommend the Softleys Belini! We then had a fantastic freshly cooked breakfast. The bacon & Sausage was divine. Apparently All the meats come from a supplier who use farms within a 50 mile radius of Derby. You can tell that this place is family run and certainly offers Fantastic freshly cooked food at a value for money. ”

Clean and comfortable
“Stayed overnight at this place, bed and breakfast. Found the rooms clean and comfortable. Service was good and staff were friendly and efficient. Can't really fault it for the accomodation, bar area was nice but did not have our evening meal here. Breakfast was good quality and overall value for money was good, I think we paid about 40 pound each for a double room.”
