Scrumptious Food

“ I have never been to a French resturant before so when a friend recommaned Le Bistrot Pierre for lunch i was bit snobby about it (in my head thinking it will be rubbish) ( didn't want to offend my friend for suggesting the resturant) and the food cannot be that good. Serves me right for being a snob, the decor of the place was really nice, the service was excellent and the food was scrumptious I ate it all and would definatley go there again and try it in the evening with my hubby. ”

Gorgeous place

“Gorgeous place, gorgeous food! Went here with a friend and wolfed down a couple of perfectly cooked medium rare steaks. It was really busy but we were made to feel like the table was ours for the night which was great. Would definitely go back - been to the Nottingham one too and it's just as good”

Tres bien!

“A really pretty looking building and beautifully decorated on the inside. Infact I would always walk by this place and think how lovely it looked but having not been to a french restaurant before I was worried it would be all strange things like snails!!! (which I have a real problem with!) so luckily I found the menu less intimidating than i'd imagined with lots of variety and delicious sounding options. I went for Le Bourguigno and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would go again.”

Reliable restaurant

“Part of a chain but has a menu for every pocket including a la carte, fixed price and a pre theatre dinner. I would like to point out their 'soiree gastronomique' as being very good value if you fancy trying a 'tasting menu' without forking out half you wage! As with all french cuisine, not the best place for vegetarians.”

“I recommend Le Bistro Pierre if you want a decent meal with a reasonable choice in a top atmosphere and the price is really competitive. I keep coming back - so they must be doing something right. x”

lovely

“i go here really often for the fixed priced menu lunch time is better than the evening and cheaper, the food is al a carte style its really good atmospher and its 3 courses for just under 12 pounds i would go back again and asgain but not at night its more expensive and the foods not as good
go n try some french cusine ”

Valentines Day has tainted my view

“Took my girlfriend here for Valentines Day a few years ago and must say we did not enjoy the evening much, felt very much like we were on a conveyor belt - get us in and get us out and the food was nothing exceptional, but that said it was Valentines Day. I have not been back since but will do so in the future as my friends experiences have been nothing but glowing so perhaps the lesson is to go on a quieter day.”

Perfect

“i love this place. The food is so nice. the service is great and the prices are more than reasonable for fine french cuisine. On more than one occassion i have had to pre order due to time restrictions and this has been no problem whatsoever. the online menu is a godsend and i cannot praise this place anymore!”

Great value

“Me and my family have been eating here for years. The food is excellent and the atmosphere and staff are fantastic to. I am a big fan of the Tuesday night set menu which is always different and gives me a chance to try something new.”
