rude staff- never again

“the staff here think that there reputation as being a good curry house is enough but i tell you now do not go here the food is no better than other curry houses in lleicester inwhich you are spoilt for choice the waiters are really rude as if they are doing you a favour by serving you the service was poor and out of principle i will not be goiing back”

Excellent

“The food here is excellent, and for what you get I think it's actually quite reasonably priced. Yes, it can get very busy and on occasion the service can be a little less than great but as i said, the food is EXCELLENT so i can forgive that. Would definitely go again and definitely recommend it to anyone!!!”

was nice food but overpriced

“I went here about 18 months ago and was quite impressed until the bill came. As i went on lunch break i didnt expect to spend £14 pounds for a 1 course meal. i would go again but not in a hurry ”

very nice

“I visited this restaurant about a year ago and i must say i was very impressed. The food was lovely and had the perfect size portions. I felt satisfied after my meal and not stuffed.”

Best indian restaurant on London road

“Usually busy and because of this the service can vary but the food more than makes up for this. Extensive menu with all the usual suspects. I particularly enjoyed the tawa lamb and a taste of my friends chilli chicken. Mid range price wise but I believe to be good value, food tastes fresh and the aromas hit you as soon as you walk in, there is also a little bar off the back which is nice to wait for other diners in so as not to get too jealous of everyones food while you wait.”

Amazing

“is all i can say about this place. The food here is outstanding. We had a great corperate lunch here not so long ago and the service was impeccable. I had the lamb rogan josh with pilau rice and a keema naan bread. It was absolutely stunning and the service was great. The prices were surprisingly good too.”

What an outrageous score you say...

“Yes I know the Tiffin has a devoted fan base but I'm damned if I know why. the food was OK but nothing more and the damn waiter hit my brother on the head with the serving tray not once but twice!!! and neither time brought an apology. We were seen and made to feel like an incoveniance, in my experience arrogance like that comes from complacency and as a result I'd much rather go to the Nila Palace or Curry house.”
