Local pub

“This pub is in small village,situated in nice grounds. It is close to Bradgate Park. There is a car park, but this always get full when busy. There is a varied menu at reasonable prices. No need to book, unless you are a large party. The service is usually okay, but do find that if you have a starter, you do tend to have to wait a while for the main course, especially at peak times. ”

Lovely food in cosy surroundings

“The Badger's Sett is one of those little gems tucked away in picturesque Cropston. Perfect to sit with the door open on a hot summer's day or a cosy meal by the fire in Winter. The service is always spot on whether it's a quiet evening in the week or a busy Sunday lunch. Comfort food at it's best.”

Love it here

“Been here throughout the years and must say i really love this place. The setting is perfect on a sunny day and if it is winter, that have an open log fire that warms your cockles, the food here is lovely. in particular the chicken and chorizo kebabs are my fave. Excellent pub. ”

Spot on!!

“I had Sunday lunch here and it was close to perfect. It’s very rare that you can take a group of fifteen out for food and everybody is happy. It is quite a large pub but because of the layout there is plenty of corners to sit out of the way of everybody else. I would recommend this place every time!”
