“ Used the takeaway service, three of the four starters were wrong. One of the main chicken dishes didn't have chicken in it! The noodles were just a big dry lump. We returned and complained, but rather than apologise the owner attempted to say that this was our fault. Eventually he 'conceded' that there was a problem. He then managed to really upset my mum and slammed the door into my wife! It's such a shame to see what was a great restaurant go to waste because of poor management. ”

“This place is the perfect place to go for a Thai curry. I had the startetr platter and it was a gorgeous selection of starters with amazing king prawns. The curries are fantastic and the whole experience feels pretty special. They've got a gorgeous little outside terraced area, you could almost be in Thailand!”

“Have to really fancy it to order in but we took a chance and ordered a takeway from this place. I was happy with the food, efficient service and the prices and I also noticed they got a great review in the Leicester Mercury as well for their dining experience so perhaps when I fancy thai again, I'll suggest a meal in their restaurant.”

“A really nice place to eat, great food and friendly service. A nice relaxed atmosphere. Great menu choice with lots of variety and good value for money. Love the coconut rice :)
Have also had lovely takeaway food, was still hot when we got it home, although menu choice not as varied as when dining i. ”

“My daughter and I decided to try this unassuming little restaurant after reading a good review. Having survived many so-called Chinese restaurants in the UK that bear little resemblance to the real thing, we were skeptical. However, to our great delight, the food was delicious and authentic. We chose the vegetarian platter to start (all deep fried, alas - a bit of overkill but tasty, nonetheless) and the Pad Thai prawns and Lamb curry with coconut rice for our main. Absolutely delicious. We finished with sorbet after such a rich main course - the perfect end to a near perfect meal. Excellent service, excellet food, fair prices and a great ambience. We will be back!”

“We had lunch in the restaurant's garden on a gorgeous hot and sunny day last year. Eating such lovely food in the relaxed, peaceful atmosphere felt like I'd been shipped away to a foreign country far, far away. ”

“If you want fine food at the right price which is consistently to a high standard try Thai Sabai. The service is excellent and family owned. When ever we've been to the restaurant the owners have been so friendly and willing to give you time and are happy to chat - a rare thing these days. Couldn't rate it highly enough!”
