The ivy clad Windmill Inn is a newly refurbished restaurant and pub in Leicester which offers the finest Mediterranean Cuisine in a very cosy and relaxing atmosphere. .

Our Brascote restaurant, with its 84 seating capacity, offers some very tasty dishes, classic favourites and specialises in Mediterranean recipes using fresh fish and best quality and freshest ingredients. The Windmill is renowned for its fish specialities and its legendary baguettes. Our chefs and staff have only one aim, to give our guests a dining experience to remember.

We offer a extensive range of hand-pulled real ales, lagers and a worldwide array of modern wines in our family beer garden Our aim is to give customers somewhere really special to eat, enjoying a lovely meal with friends and family. We have a big screen TV for those not to be missed sporting events and a large car park with CCTV surveillance.

We are widely known throughout the Leicestershire area for our excellent, value for money and imaginative food and good selections of wine. The Sunday Night Pub Quiz is still going strong, with quite a few regular Teams competing every week for the glory of winning the Cash Prize on offer.

Lovely food

“I am lucky enough to live within 10 minutes of the Windmill Inn, which offers a great selection of food, both in the daytime and at night. The baguettes and sandwiches at lunch are served with either chips or potato wedges, and are huge - great value for money! A lovely atmosphere, with friendly staff.”

“a great time here with my work colleagues, they were really pleasant and nice. the food is simply to die for and i was more than impressed with the service. I was happy to come here to conduct a business meal and the quality sealed the deal for me and my company. very happy”

Rustic charm

“This place has been refurbished and it's now really warm and friendly but still with that rustic charm. Love the open log fire, especially on a cold winter's night. Good wine selection but I've not had the opportunity to dine here yet. Tried to once but it was close to Christmas and fully booked so I would advise making reservations.”
