Empty shop space packed with works of art
The organiser of an exhibition featuring work by young artists says the collection has helped inject a bit of culture into the city centre.
The show at Malcolm Arcade, Leicester, opened on Thursday.

Alex Serrano Amor said he wanted to use empty spaces to showcase work, including paintings, photos and sculptures.
The former De Montfort University student said: "I found it was very hard to find anywhere to exhibit my work after I graduated and I know other artists felt the same way, so I wanted to help create something for them.
"So many shops in the city centre are empty at the moment so it's a brilliant time to launch an exhibition in what would have been just another empty shop space.
"We're hoping the exhibition will pop up again, perhaps in St Martin's Square, next month.
"Leicester really needs an injection of culture."
Money raised by the sale of the art will be split between charities Survival, which helps tribal communities, and the Neurofibromatosis Association.
