More snow forecast for Leicester and Leicestershire
More snow is forecast for Leicester and Leicestershire this weekend.
The Met Office has issued a Yellow Alert for snow from the early hours of Sunday through to Monday night. Forecasters have warned we could see up to 10 cm of snow. The warning urges the public to be aware of widespread snow and ice and to expect local travel disruption.

Tonight will be cloudy with a limited risk of snow showers. Temperatures will fall to around freezing.
Tomorrow, after a frosty frosty it will be overcast and cold maximum temperatures of 3C and a minimum of 1C.

Heavy snow is forecast for Sunday in Leicester and Leicestershire moving in during the morning. Temperatures will remain around freezing but feeling much colder (-4C) in the wind.
