Big incentive for Barwell in FA Vase

Barwell have been given the perfect incentive to complete the FA Vase job they started at Willand Rovers last Saturday.

The winners of this weekend's replay at Kirkby Road have been drawn at home to Norton and Stockton Ancients in the quarter-finals.

The Ancients are a Northern League outfit and, while that is traditionally a strong competition, they do not figure in the title race this season.

However, they must be a strong unit to have reached the last-eight of the Vase, winning 2-0 at New Mills in the fifth round.
