Husbands Bosworth: An after-school summer play and outdoor activity scheme for children aged from five to eight is running at Husbands Bosworth's Kilworth Road playing field during term time.

The sessions, which will run in all weather conditions, are free and will be from 3pm to 5pm on Tuesday afternoons.

Fully qualified and police-approved local authority play rangers will organise the activities during the sessions.

Activities available will include soft ball games, creative crafts, obstacle courses and nature rambles around the playing field.

The sessions are open access and are run on a drop-in basis where the children are free to join in or not, or just watch, if they so wish.

A parent, guardian or competent older child over the age of 14 must accompany those attending the session.
